Coaching/mentoring program? Yes
Details of coaching/mentoring program We have a formal mentorship program that is led by our Practice Group Talent Managers (The NA Integration Mentoring Program). Each new associate joining the Firm (both entry level and lateral) is invited to participate in this one-year program. The program pairs new associates with a more experienced lawyer to provide professional guidance and share practical knowledge and skills.

The program serves three important goals:
1. The development of relationships between new and more experienced lawyers;
2. The integration of the new lawyer into his or her Practice Group and the Firm; and
3. The provision of education on professional responsibility topics and issues.

An Integration Mentoring Handbook is provided to participants during the program orientation, with information on successfully completing the NA Integration Mentoring Program.

That said there is plenty of opportunities for informal mentorships as well. Baker is a very open door friendly atmosphere.
